Product overview

Tagatose + Monk Fruit Extract Co-Blend is supplied at Tagatose 95.0–99.0 % + Mogroside V 1.0–5.0 %, delivering 1:1 with sucrose (tunable) with ≈ 1.5 kcal / g and a glycaemic index of ≈ 3. Minimum order is 25 kg (1 fibre drum) · ratio tuned to your brief, and every batch ships with a batch-specific COA.

What it is. Compound sweetener systems combining a high-intensity sweetener with a bulking agent to deliver spoon-for-spoon sugar replacement. Botanical / chemical identity: D-Tagatose with Siraitia grosvenorii extract. CAS: 87-81-0 / 88901-36-4.

How it is made. Dry blending of individually tested components in a GMP-controlled blending suite, followed by metal detection, in-process homogeneity checks (assay on top / middle / bottom samples) and packing under nitrogen where required.

Performance in application. The blend is engineered to drop straight into an existing sucrose formula: it is cold-soluble and heat-stable through pasteurisation and baking, and the bulking partner carries the mouthfeel, the browning and the freezing-point depression that a high-intensity sweetener alone cannot deliver.

Why buyers choose this grade. A co-blend removes the two-step problem: you no longer dose a high-intensity sweetener and a bulking agent separately. The ratio is fixed at blending, so every batch tastes the same and your production team weighs one ingredient instead of three.

Quality and documentation. Every batch is released against a batch-specific certificate of analysis covering assay, moisture, ash, heavy metals, microbiological limits and a 450+ compound pesticide multi-residue screen. Halal and Kosher certificates are issued against the producing plant, and third-party verification is available on request.

Supply and logistics. 25 kg (1 fibre drum) · ratio tuned to your brief. Stocked grades ship within 3–5 business days from the Guangzhou warehouse. Incoterms offered are FOB Nansha / Yantian, CIF, CFR and DDP door-to-door by air or express.

Why formulators choose this grade

  • Sucrose-level sweetness at a glycaemic index of about 3
  • Authentic Maillard browning without the polyol cooling effect
  • Prebiotic fibre effect as a secondary marketing claim
  • Short ingredient list — no need for a second sweetener on the line
  • Custom ratio matched to your sensory target
  • Batch-specific COA with heavy-metal, microbiological and 450+ pesticide residue results
  • Free evaluation sample dispatched within 24–48 hours
  • Non-GMO, allergen-free, not irradiated, no solvent residue
  • Halal and Kosher certificates issued against the producing plant

Frequently asked questions

A pre-blended system removes homogeneity risk, reduces your raw-material qualification workload from two suppliers to one, and arrives with a single COA covering every component. It also removes the capital cost of high-shear blending and the QC burden of per-batch assay verification.
Yes. Ratio, mesh, bulk density and packaging are all specified by you. Typical development runs from a 25 kg trial lot to full production.
Ten samples are drawn from the top, middle and bottom of every lot and assayed by HPLC. Blend homogeneity is reported as relative standard deviation, with a release limit of ≤ 5 %.
Yes, when sweetness and bulk are balanced together. Erythritol- and allulose-based blends reach 1:1 sweetness equivalence with sucrose; the choice between them depends on whether you want a cooling effect or browning.
Yes. We run sachet, stick, jar and pouch formats for private-label and Amazon retail programmes, with your artwork and barcode.
A batch-specific COA covering every component, allergen declaration, heavy-metal and microbiological results, metal-detection record, and Halal / Kosher certificates where requested.
Trial lots typically dispatch within 2–3 weeks of specification sign-off. MOQ for a bespoke system is 100 kg, with 25 kg initial trial lots available.

We kept our existing conching schedule unchanged and the consumer panel could not pick the sugar-free bar. That never happens.

Two claims from one ingredient — low glycaemic and prebiotic. The blend gave us a cleaner label than the system it replaced.
