Product overview

Oven-Dried Monk Fruit (Whole Fruit) is supplied as Whole fruit · 18–25 mm · moisture ≤ 12 %. It is a whole-fruit, minimally processed tea and beverage ingredient — no extraction, no carriers, no added sugar. Minimum order is 50 kg · free 500 g sample, and every lot ships with a batch-specific COA.

What it is. Whole, sliced or cored fruit of Siraitia grosvenorii — the traditional Luo Han Guo used for tea and decoction. Botanical / chemical identity: Siraitia grosvenorii dried fruit. CAS: n/a (whole botanical).

How it is made. Fruit is harvested at maturity in Guilin, Guangxi, then dehydrated under controlled low-temperature airflow to retain mogrosides and aroma volatiles. No sulphur fumigation, no added sugar, no preservatives.

Performance in application. The pieces are brewed, not dissolved: they infuse in hot water over 3–5 minutes and give a rounded, fruit-forward sweetness with no bitter aftertaste. Slice size and moisture are controlled so the infusion is repeatable cup to cup.

Why buyers choose this grade. A whole-fruit format lets a tea or beverage brand put a recognisable piece of fruit on the label instead of an extract number, and the low-temperature process keeps the colour and aroma that high-heat drying destroys.

Quality and documentation. Every batch is released against a batch-specific certificate of analysis covering assay, moisture, ash, heavy metals, microbiological limits and a 450+ compound pesticide multi-residue screen. Halal and Kosher certificates are issued against the producing plant, and third-party verification is available on request.

Supply and logistics. 50 kg · free 500 g sample. Stocked grades ship within 3–5 business days from the Guangzhou warehouse. Incoterms offered are FOB Nansha / Yantian, CIF, CFR and DDP door-to-door by air or express.

Frequently asked questions

Low-temperature dehydration dries below the threshold at which mogrosides and aroma volatiles degrade, preserving sweetness and a fresher fruit character. Oven drying is faster and cheaper but produces a more caramelised, darker fruit.
No. There is no sulphur fumigation, no added sugar and no preservative. This is why the fruit keeps its natural flavour but has a shorter optimum sensory window than treated fruit.
One whole fruit, cracked and steeped, is typical for 1–2 litres of infusion. Slices and cores infuse faster because the surface area is greater.
It varies by lot and is assayed by HPLC; the declared value is on each lot's COA. Core and slice grades generally carry higher sweetness density than whole fruit.
Whole fruit is preferred for retail presentation; slices and cores are more economical for foodservice and for extraction feedstock.
MOQ is 25 kg for cores and 50 kg for whole fruit and slices. Free 250–500 g samples are available for evaluation.
Sealed, in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Under those conditions the declared shelf life is 18 months.

Colour is consistently pale and the aroma is intact. We have bought from four provinces over the years and this is the most stable whole fruit we have had.

The grading is honest — what the sample shows is what the container shows. Retail packing quality is good enough to sell unopened.
